Why this site exists
Ranking is useful when it makes the reason behind a choice visible. A tier list can compare game characters, films, food, sports players, books, products, or any collection that benefits from a consistent standard. We built Rankly to make that process quick without forcing visitors to create an account before they can start.
The editor supports image and text lists, custom row labels, drag-and-drop placement, and PNG export. Templates provide a starting set of items; the final ordering always belongs to the person making the list.
How the editor handles your material
Images selected in the main editor are processed inside the browser for the ranking session. The current editor does not require those image files to be uploaded to a Rankly server. Some preferences may be stored locally in the browser so the interface can remember them. Our Privacy Policy explains analytics, local storage, cookies, and future advertising in more detail.
Our editorial standard
Rankly guides are written to answer a specific question, show a repeatable method, and acknowledge trade-offs. We do not invent community polls, usage statistics, test results, or quotations. When a page discusses a changing game meta or a third-party platform, readers should treat dated examples as context rather than an official or permanent ranking.
Templates are curated for usability and discussion. They are not endorsements, official lists, or claims that one item is objectively better than another. We aim to distinguish verifiable facts from editorial suggestions and update pages when an important feature or factual detail changes.

Rankly is an independent website. Unless a page explicitly states otherwise, it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the games, entertainment companies, artists, sports organizations, social networks, or other brands mentioned in a template. Product names, character names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively to identify ranking topics.
