Where the current S picks shine

S-Tier Deadlock Heroes and Where They Shine

These notes explain why the three heroes in the current Rankly S group stand out in the dated Tracklock snapshot and what can still limit each pick. They are editorial context, not an official Valve ranking.

VictorVictor

Victor sits in the current S group at 55.99% on the linked snapshot. His close-range pressure, durability and self-revival threat make him a natural frontline pick when a team wants to force decisive fights. The limitation is commitment: poor timing or an isolated engage can turn that pressure into an easy punishment.

GravesGraves

Graves is in the current S group at 54.85%. His undead tools let him contest space, sustain pressure and keep a fight awkward for opponents who cannot clear his setup. He is less comfortable when denied farm, room or time to establish that pressure, so the placement is not a promise of effortless wins.

SevenSeven

Seven reaches the current S group at 54.51%. His electrical control and teamfight threat reward coordinated positioning and make clustered fights dangerous for the other side. His visible setup and reliance on good angles are real limits: opponents who read the space early can force him to spend the kit defensively.

Mode and patch context

Deadlock Mode & Patch Variants

The best-hero answer changes with the mode and the patch. Street Brawl and other limited-time modes can reward a completely different hero set than the main lane meta, and a balance patch can move several heroes between tiers overnight. The entries below are variant starting points for comparison; keep the patch and mode in your title so the ranking stays understandable.

Reference only

Street Brawl

Tracklock's Street Brawl view currently surfaces a different top group, with Paige, Graves and Victor leading the visible snapshot. Treat this as a mode-specific starting point and keep the mode plus date in the title before assigning your own tiers.

Reference only

2026-08-22 Minor Patch

The current Standard snapshot is labeled 2026-08-22 Minor Patch. A balance update can move several heroes overnight, so preserve the patch label when comparing this reference with a new Deadlock tier list.

Reference only

Ranked vs Normal filters

Tracklock exposes Ranked and Normal views, and the best answer can shift with the player pool and ruleset. Compare like with like: record the filter, patch and date instead of blending separate data cuts.

Four practical steps

How to Make a Deadlock Tier List

Use the editor to turn a patch discussion, mode comparison or personal hero ranking into a board you can explain and share. Put the mode, filter and date in the title when the snapshot matters.

01

Start with the supplied roster

Search the 38 local hero images or upload a missing hero when the roster or your own list needs an extra entry.

02

Choose the patch and mode

Decide whether you are judging Standard, Ranked, Normal, Street Brawl, a dated patch, role fit or personal preference, and say so in the title.

03

Drag heroes into S–D tiers

Move the heroes into S, A, B, C or D, then rename rows if your list uses labels such as carry, flex, niche or avoid.

04

Save, share and export

Review the order, use Save & Share for a link, or download a PNG when your Deadlock tier list is ready.

Frequently asked questions

Deadlock Tier List Maker FAQ

Who are the best heroes in Deadlock right now?

The linked Tracklock snapshot for the 2026-08-22 Minor Patch places heroes into groups by displayed win rate. Using the cutoffs on this page, Victor, Graves and Seven are in S, while Ivy, Kelvin, Vyper, Paige, Mo & Krill and Celeste are in A. It is a dated by-patch data view, not an official Valve verdict, and a balance patch can change the answer within days.

How do I make a Deadlock tier list?

Use the free editor above, search or upload hero images, drag heroes into S through D tiers, add or rename rows, then download a PNG or share a link. No sign-up is required.

Which Deadlock heroes are included?

The starter library covers the 38-hero roster in the September 9, 2026 snapshot. Missing a newly added hero or want a custom entry? Add it with the upload control.

Why does the Deadlock meta change so often?

Valve ships frequent balance patches and has added limited-time modes such as Street Brawl, so a hero's value can shift between updates and across modes. A dated tier list loses value fast — which is exactly why you can build and share your own above.

Is this affiliated with Valve or Deadlock?

No. This is an independent fan tool. Hero names, game assets and modes belong to Valve; the reference above is a dated editorial snapshot and every ranking you build on this page is your own opinion.
