Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Rankly collects when you use tierlistmaker.pro, why that information is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Who operates this website

Rankly operates the Tier List Maker website at tierlistmaker.pro. The site provides browser-based ranking tools, templates, and editorial guides. Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through our Contact page.

2. Images and text you add to the editor

The current image and text editors work in your browser. Images you select for a ranking are read locally for the active session and are not intentionally uploaded to a Rankly server by the editor. Downloading a PNG creates a file for you; it does not publish the ranking to our website. Do not add material you do not have the right to use or share.

3. Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, referral source, and interactions with the interface. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. We use this information to diagnose errors, understand which pages are useful, and improve navigation and performance. We do not ask you to put an email address or phone number into a tier-list URL, and we do not intentionally send personally identifying information through analytics events.

4. Cookies and local storage

The site may use browser storage to remember a language choice, editor preferences, or a local draft. You can clear this data through your browser settings. Analytics cookies may remain for the period configured by the analytics provider unless you delete them sooner or block them with browser controls.

5. Advertising and third-party cookies

If Rankly displays Google AdSense ads, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, measure delivery, prevent fraud, and limit repeated ads. Other approved advertising vendors may also use cookies or similar identifiers where permitted.

You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Additional information about how Google uses data on partner sites is available at Google's partner-sites notice. Advertising features will only be activated subject to applicable consent and disclosure requirements.

6. Consent in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Before serving personalized advertising where Google requires consent, Rankly will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the applicable transparency framework. The consent message will identify purposes and vendors and let eligible visitors accept, reject, or manage choices. Analytics and advertising storage signals will be handled according to the selection made in that interface.

7. Third-party links and services

Pages may link to games, social networks, videos, or other websites. Those services set their own privacy practices and may collect information when you visit them. Rankly is not responsible for an external site's policy. Links that open a new window use protective link attributes where practical.

8. Retention and security

Locally processed tier-list files remain under your browser and device controls. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our analytics account and may be aggregated or deleted when no longer needed. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we limit the information requested by the editor and avoid collecting accounts or payment details for the free tool.

9. Children

Rankly is a general-audience ranking tool and is not directed to children under the age required to consent to online data processing in their location. We do not knowingly request a child's name, contact details, school, or precise location. If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted personal information through a future feature, contact us so the report can be reviewed.

10. Your choices and rights

You may block or delete cookies, clear local storage, use browser tracking protections, avoid personalized ads where controls are offered, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, or objection rights that apply in your jurisdiction. Browser restrictions can affect saved preferences but the core ranking editor should remain available.

11. Policy changes

We may update this policy when tools, vendors, legal requirements, or advertising practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before the related feature is used where required.
